I've been workin' on this mustache all summer long!

And my favorite punk/rock band will always be Relient K ....and also i can't wear a pink tux to the prom...cus i was homeschooled...and i graduated over 4 years ago... :-/ least i gots mysewf a mustache though!! heck YES!

Pulling a Trump Card at Work

So funny story. A few days ago Dr. Lee came to look over my shoulder and check the schedule for the next day. Our first patient for the next day's name was Chuck. So, i took a small piece of paper and wrote "Norris" on it and just covered the guys last name with it. When Dr Lee came to read the name for our 9 am apt, he read out loud, paused before saying the last name and then paused after - trying to contain a chuckle. "Uuhhm... So our first patient *heheh* is Chuck Norris?" he asked. I chuckled and didnt say anything. Nothing more needed to be said. i played my cards, and i played 'em well. Once again I caught the Dr. Offguard and made him laugh despite himself - hes so good at keeping a straight face. :) my day was complete.

Classic thrift experience

Haha...at Salvation Army...jars of clay frail cd for 99 cents.... Opened it up and it has jars of clay if i left the zoo. CLASSIC.

So... I dont even really know what to say about this. leaving work yesterday, we found a poop-scooper in a plastic bin on the trash can outside our office. oh the things these little eyes see!

Here, we're standing outside of Aldi, preparing to buy an entire Thanksgiving meal for a family we adopted.  God loves cheerful givers!

A Moment: It can change your heart a little.

So last night there was a moment where 5 ppl jam-packed in a car laughing & joking - stopped for a moment to worship the Lord. it just kind of happened too, and it really blew my heart away. The car go silent before u started hearing soft voices singing, "may You be all that is on my mind all of the time. Let my heart be torn in two until Your will is mine. Dearly Beloved of my soul. You are Dearly Beloved of my soul." it was a very sweet moment. As flyleaf sings, "i am alone and they are too, with You. I'm alive. I can feel You All around me, thickening the air I'm breathing." I share a lot of my silly moments with the world. but today... I'm sharing a dear, sweet moment with the Lord...and with my friends. Thank You Lord for meeting us. :)
